Scientific mode is available inside the Calculator. Toggle it with the Scientific button above the keypad.
A calculator that works in hex, binary, and octal as well as decimal, and supports bitwise and shift operations used in programming.
Decimal is everyday numbers; hex and binary are common in code (addresses, masks, flags); octal appears in some file permissions and legacy systems.
Word size (8, 16, 32, 64 bits) limits the value range and how results are displayed, matching common integer types (e.g. uint32_t, int64_t).

Use * for multiplication (e.g. 2*x). Powers use ^ (e.g. x^2). Functions include sin, cos, tan, sqrt, abs, log, exp.
Parametric equations describe curves where both coordinates depend on a third variable. Many introductory lessons still benefit from seeing the component functions clearly.
This v1 page uses function plotting to visualize shapes that also show up while building parametric intuition, especially sine and cosine pairs.
Read the polar page next for another non-rectangular viewpoint.
A true parametric plot uses a parameter t for both x and y. Here you can still explore periodic components that often appear in parametric courses.
Full parametric plotting is planned as an enhancement. Today’s tool focuses on y = f(x) visualization.
Component graphs are the building blocks of many parametric curves.
