Scientific mode is available inside the Calculator. Toggle it with the Scientific button above the keypad.
A calculator that works in hex, binary, and octal as well as decimal, and supports bitwise and shift operations used in programming.
Decimal is everyday numbers; hex and binary are common in code (addresses, masks, flags); octal appears in some file permissions and legacy systems.
Word size (8, 16, 32, 64 bits) limits the value range and how results are displayed, matching common integer types (e.g. uint32_t, int64_t).

Results are estimates based on user inputs and assumptions and may not reflect real-world outcomes. Users should consult qualified financial, tax, or legal professionals before making any financial decisions. Use of Calciverse is at your own risk.
Use * for multiplication (e.g. 2*x). Powers use ^ (e.g. x^2). Functions include sin, cos, tan, sqrt, abs, log, exp.
Piecewise functions specify different formulas on different intervals. A full piecewise UI is not required to learn the idea: you can plot each branch in succession and sketch mentally.
Absolute value and indicator-style expressions can emulate some piecewise behavior in a single line for classroom demos.
Use systems and inequality pages when you study overlapping regions.
This calculator plots one y = f(x) expression at a time. For true piecewise rules, graph each branch separately or combine using abs/max tricks where appropriate.
Use one expression per plot. For multiple branches, plot sequentially or use a tool that supports piecewise domains.
A single continuous expression cannot recreate arbitrary jumps; model pieces separately.
