Scientific mode is available inside the Calculator. Toggle it with the Scientific button above the keypad.
A calculator that works in hex, binary, and octal as well as decimal, and supports bitwise and shift operations used in programming.
Decimal is everyday numbers; hex and binary are common in code (addresses, masks, flags); octal appears in some file permissions and legacy systems.
Word size (8, 16, 32, 64 bits) limits the value range and how results are displayed, matching common integer types (e.g. uint32_t, int64_t).

Use * for multiplication (e.g. 2*x). Powers use ^ (e.g. x^2). Functions include sin, cos, tan, sqrt, abs, log, exp.
The sine wave is the prototypical periodic graph. Small parameter changes produce recognizable shifts that you can see instantly.
Plotting helps connect the unit circle to the wave picture: one full wave corresponds to one revolution’s vertical component.
Move to cosine and tangent pages to compare shapes in the same cluster.
The parent graph y = sin(x) oscillates between -1 and 1 with period 2π. Multiplying x inside changes frequency; adding inside shifts phase.
The parser uses radians for trig functions in typical math-software fashion. Convert degrees explicitly if needed.
Examples here emphasize sine-specific transformations; the engine is identical.
