Scientific mode is available inside the Calculator. Toggle it with the Scientific button above the keypad.
A calculator that works in hex, binary, and octal as well as decimal, and supports bitwise and shift operations used in programming.
Decimal is everyday numbers; hex and binary are common in code (addresses, masks, flags); octal appears in some file permissions and legacy systems.
Word size (8, 16, 32, 64 bits) limits the value range and how results are displayed, matching common integer types (e.g. uint32_t, int64_t).

Use * for multiplication (e.g. 2*x). Powers use ^ (e.g. x^2). Functions include sin, cos, tan, sqrt, abs, log, exp.
Integration reverses differentiation up to a constant. Plotting f alongside a simple antiderivative helps you reason about net change and signed area mentally.
The default demo pairs x^2 with x^3/3. Changing the main expression may hide the companion until you reset.
Pair with derivatives page for a full differentiation–integration loop.
An antiderivative F satisfies F′ = f (up to constants). Plotting both highlights accumulation ideas before Riemann sums.
Families of antiderivatives differ by constants; graphs shift vertically.
Area shading is not part of v1. Plot curves and compute area with separate tools if needed.
