Scientific mode is available inside the Calculator. Toggle it with the Scientific button above the keypad.
A calculator that works in hex, binary, and octal as well as decimal, and supports bitwise and shift operations used in programming.
Decimal is everyday numbers; hex and binary are common in code (addresses, masks, flags); octal appears in some file permissions and legacy systems.
Word size (8, 16, 32, 64 bits) limits the value range and how results are displayed, matching common integer types (e.g. uint32_t, int64_t).

Use * for multiplication (e.g. 2*x). Powers use ^ (e.g. x^2). Functions include sin, cos, tan, sqrt, abs, log, exp.
Exponential functions model repeated multiplication: population growth, radioactive decay (with negative exponents), and compound interest patterns.
Plotting highlights the “slow then fast” shape for growth bases greater than one, and the mirror behavior for bases between zero and one.
Compare with logarithmic graphs to reinforce inverse relationships in your studies.
For b > 1, b^x grows; for 0 < b < 1, b^x decays. The graph always stays above the x-axis for real outputs in simple real cases.
In this parser, exp(x) denotes e^x. You can also use e^x if your expression syntax supports it.
Very large outputs exceed a comfortable window. Zoom or recenter to explore.
